The Designer

This project was actually made possible by the efforts of Jinny Blom Limited, the renowned landscape designer who has chosen to make the area by CW. This is the charity organization that helped push through the entire services by the hospital. The Kensington and Chelsea Council also play their important role in making this project a huge success.
Jinny is an ex-psychotherapist and a psychologist who worked in the community sector in domestic mental health for almost ten years. This is actually prior to moving to the landscape scene. Her first experience in utilizing plants, nature and landscapes in a healing context carried out involving patients.

CW Hospital NH Foundation Trust chief executive, Lesley Watts stated that it is somehow significant to develop the hospital space in such a way that it helps people to remain resilient, supported and calm when they enter the hospital.
They are also even more grateful due to Royal Borough’s ongoing support including the donations received from patients and supporters. The funding of this indoor garden gives benefit to most patients that they care for.
Last year, St Mary’s Hospital hid a twelve-metre high wall with all those blooming plants. This was to help improve the environment and help all patients.
