Plans for the Largest Indoor Golf Centre in the World Unveiled
Golf is one of the most interesting and challenging sports played both as a hobby and a serious profession. It requires practice and extreme concentration. For beginners, golf can be extremely complex as it involves a number of guidelines and rules. Sometimes, it takes a lot of time for people to understand the game’s basic.
Before, golf was considered as a game for adults who used it to play for fun and social reasons. Today, even kids have started playing the game with the same passion and interest as adults do. From choosing the right type of balls and clubs to understanding the speed of length and swings, there are many things that one needs to know before playing the sport.
An all weather solution
The fact remains that playing golf is a fun and thrilling experience. However, there are times when the weather is not favorable for playing a game outside. There’s a project that aims to give golf enthusiasts just what they need to enjoy the sport.
Indoor Golf Solutions is currently looking for an investor to build the largest indoor golf centre in the world. Indoor Golf Arena is designed to be the world’s most unique, diverse and largest indoor golf training centre that offers sophisticated indoor golf training facilities 365 days a year. The complex aims to encourage passion and interest among people about golfing.
World class facilities
Indoor Golf Arena will have a two-tier driving range, 44 bays, 20 Foresight Sports golf simulators and 102, 250 square feet of rolling synthetic grass facilities with water hazards and bunkers. The complex will feature a bar, a lounge, an up market restaurant and a kid’s training area. It will also have sky lounges, meeting rooms and a conference room, so you can bring your business to the complex. There will be a 4-star hotel as well. With this, you won’t have any problem with your accommodation.
If the project commences, the complex will be built in The Netherlands where golf is presently the quickest growing sport. The arena will be located near Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. However, you can still go to a smaller centre in the UK if you are not that fond of riding a ferry or plane.
The company also plans to bring the concept to the UK. According to Indoor Golf Project CEO Jon Standing, there is a market for it. Many potential UK clients have expressed interest in the development of smaller, sophisticated indoor golf centres that could be a satellite version of the arena.
Standing stated that they are expecting Indoor Golf Arena to bring 150,000 visitors every year. Eventually, the company aims to build eight to ten indoor arenas worldwide. Around 250 smaller satellite versions of the area will run under exclusive Indoor Golf Arena licence as well as support the global Indoor Golf Arena concept. However, a lot depends on the ability to find an appropriate location and enough investment to support the project.
